Where can I stay?

Some limited accommodation is available on-site (£80.80 + VAT for single rooms, £115.00 + VAT for twin rooms), which we’ll allocate on a first-come, first-served basis. These will be student rooms in New Court or North Court, and can be set up as single or twin rooms. You can let us know if you would like to stay here via the RSVP. Otherwise, Emmanuel College is in the centre of Cambridge and there’s plenty of hotels and Airbnbs nearby – including Premier Inn, The Hilton and The University Arms (all less than 5 minutes away).

Where can I park?

There will be no on-site parking available, unfortunately. We’d recommend using the Park and Ride just outside of Cambridge, which has reasonable rates – 18 – 24 hours £10, 24 – 48 hours £20, 48 – 72 hours £30. There’s some closer parking available in the Grand Arcade and at Parkside Pools, however this is likely to be very expensive.

How can I let you know about allergies & dietary requirements?

Once Emmanuel College releases the menu possibilities to us, we’ll send you an email (you should have been asked to provide this during the RSVP process!) with a link where you can choose what you want to eat for the wedding breakfast. There will be an option to let us know about any allergies or extra dietary requirements at this point, and Emmanuel will be able to make arrangements for you.

Are there any venue restrictions?

Emmanuel College does not allow any confetti of any sort on the premises… so please don’t bring any… or chuck anything in our general direction that might be mistaken as confetti.

Can I take any of my own photos during the day?

We have hired some excellent professional photographers for the day, and we would like to request that you please do not take photos during the ceremony. After the ceremony, though, please feel free to take your own photos! We’d love if you could add them to our shared album, so everyone who attends can look at them: please add yourself to the Invites list here to start adding to the album.

However, we would really appreciate if you did not share photos of the day on social media… at least, until we have posted about it first. Thank you!

Can I suggest some songs for the playlist?

We’d love it if you could add your own songs to our playlist, which we will give to the band for their DJ set! Please add yourself to the Invites list here to start adding to the shared playlist.

(We would, however, like to put a moratorium on Ed Sheeran, and anything similarly mediocre).

Will there be anything to do on the evening before?

We will be having some informal drinks at The Regal on Friday evening between 18:30 and 20:30 – please join us if you’re around beforehand!
